Assists the sales and design effort by coordinating customer projects to ensure that objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Maintains a positive attitude and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities for other work team members. Essential Functions: • Creates written scope for all projects. • Works with internal installers and subs to ensure seamless installations. • Tracks production and shipping progress of orders to ensure that deadlines are met. • Maintains frequent contact with client, providing information on order status, shipping information, and installation schedule. (Including on site.) • Coordinates installation for client and develops project schedules as needed. • Participates in status meetings with account teams and client when needed. • Has accountability for punch list being completed to client's satisfaction with timely and responsive problem resolution. • Is accountable for keeping the labor budget within the set parameters and providing the internal team with timely field change order information. • Attends Construction meetings /calls as needed • Makes sure proper installation drawings are provided for install • Visits jobs site as necessary to ensure site is ready for installation • Schedules safety training as needed • Ensure projects are billed in a timely
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Possess extensive knowledge of primary manufacturers' products.
Good planning and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Able to interact with customers, identify and resolve issues and communicate creative solutions that are both beneficial to the clients as well as cost efficient for OfficeWorks.
Should have knowledge and understanding of architectural drawings.
Have the ability to handle pressure, multi-task, and work extended hours in order to meet altered timelines.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to learn additional software programs that may be required by the company and/or its manufacturers.
Working Environment: May need to adapt to internal and external environments based on the scope of the client's project and/or their facility.
Physical Demands: While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, bend, and keyboard.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor or Associates degree or equivalent experience in project coordination, operations or management.
