Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires effective leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work to ensure alignment with client goals and expectations.
Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
Lead project team meetings and ensure timely reporting on progress, costs, and scheduling.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and contract requirements.
Oversee the preparation of RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and financial records.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks to avoid delays or budget overruns.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff, including project engineers and assistant project managers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in construction project management or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and project management software.
Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
