Our client, a multi-billion dollar materials manufacturer for commercial and consumer products, is seeking a Capital Projects Engineer to join their team responsible for one of the most critical components that allows our client to manufacture their industry leading products.

Required Education/Experience:
Undergraduate degree in engineering discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience as in project engineering or project management in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment
Experience managing full lifecycle of project with budgets up to 1 million
Directly influence design, operational preparations, vedor construction management, cost, and project deadline tracking by providing appropriate leadership and technical skills
Demonstrated ability to work with operations, process, and maintenance staff throughout project lifecycle
Proficient with 2D CAD application for drafting/project design
Preferred Education/Experience:
Undergraduate in Chemical Engineering with 3+ years of direct experience managing capital projects in a refinery, petro-chemical, or relevant heavy industrial distillation process
Advanced proficiency troubleshooting piping, pressure vessel, and rotating equipment used in continuous high heat distillation chemical processes
Experience working with blow still oxidation processes
PMP certification, formal project management training, or proven PM skills through application
Well versed in process hazard analysis and process safety management
