* Experience managing the design and installations of complex SW, IT or Communications related systems, to include management of construction and deployment schedules, subcontractors, and vendors.

Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an IT Project Manager for one of our clients in Norfolk, VA. This is an onsite role. This is a multi-faceted role, requiring the candidate to simultaneously manage multiple small to mid-scale IT and Communications systems installation projects, both locally and via remote means.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Managing complex IT and Communications engineering projects to include:
* Decomposing and refining tasking into project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, while conferring with management.
* Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
* Determining project responsibilities by identifying project phases, resource requirements, and other necessary elements.
* Determining project schedules by studying project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
* Maintaining project schedules by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
* Coordinating amongst various teams in different engineering disciplines to present a unified, integrated product to project stakeholders.
* Preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
* Defining, generating, and reviewing project requirements documentation.
* Monitoring projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
* Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
* Meeting budgetary objectives and making adjustments to project constraints based upon financial analysis.
* Ensuring that project management methodologies used are in line with organizational processes.
* Leading a teams of project engineers to complete Complex IT and Communications System installations.
* Engaging with and managing the work of subcontractor installation companies.
Compensation: $48/hr to $57/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
