Scott Humphrey has partnered with a large and reputable general contractor to assist in finding an Project Manager for their headquarters in Houston. As the Project Manager you will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of Commercial/Retail projects; project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections.
Job Description:
Coordinate and oversee daily subcontractor project assignments
Ensure a safe workplace that meets company standards and OSHA requirements
Schedule and monitor material deliveries
Perform daily quality control walks
Create punch lists for trades on each phase of construction
Organize city inspections
Maintain job site paperwork: daily reports, material order and delivery, employee safety certifications
Effectively collaborate with clients and other team members, engineers, architects, inspectors, and city officials
Attend project status meetings and assist in problem solving efforts
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent from accredited institution
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and/or Microsoft Project
