QuickLoadz is seeking a motivated and organized individual to facilitate state and federal guidelines/approvals and develop manufacturing/quality systems. We need a mechanically-inclined organizer who will work with expert consultants and in-house personnel to collect, organize, evaluate and compile information.
Position Description
Work with expert consultants (CARB/CORE, EPA) and Telematics specialists, engineering technical writers and others to create and manage the specific documentation necessary to answer technical questions. Tasks will include various meetings, documentation, quality checking and organizing information, including but not limited to, the following:
Coordinate with our technical writer to develop technical, operations and users manuals
Coordinate with our sales team to ensure marketing/sales materials are detailed and accurate
Ensure compliance with Federal/state requirements (FMVSS and NHTSA), identify changes
Collect and organize detailed specs on QuickLoadz products and those comparable in the market
Necessary Skills

Excellent communication and technical comprehension skills
Able to read and understand technical documents (kilowatts, voltage, amps, tolerances etc.)
Good written communication and interpersonal skills
Able to research and compile industry specs.
Demonstrated ability to work collegially with others with the highest standards of integrity
Knowledge in vehicle or vehicle components
Able to source and organize materials from diverse (and sometimes difficult to find) data
Flexible, proactive, attention to detail, and inclination to contribute with strong critical thinking and common sense
Skilled in navigating ambiguity in a high-volume, high-touch atmosphere
Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
Support manufacturing with localized production, parts verification and technical support
Investigate industry trends through competitive benchmarking, applying that information to set development directions and guide performance target settings
Investigate industry trends by monitoring publication of technical reports internally/externally
Provide technical support for EV battery system related concerns for both pre-production and post-production issues
Support EV and hybrid vehicle development in collaboration with the Horizon Motor, fostering cross-pollination of knowledge and processes
Qualifications
Extremely organized and detail oriented
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or other related fields would help but is not required
2+ years of experience in technical support and troubleshooting required, ability to understand how things go together
