Position Summary
ANA is seeking a senior executive to lead our Strategic Partner program and a la carte conference sponsorships. This position is equal parts relationship management and business development. A key responsibility is managing ANA's Strategic Partner program and assisting with other programs such as our Thought Leader Partners, Data Tech Measurement Partners, B2B Partners, and Brand Partners. ANA's core principle with partners is to provide mutually beneficial opportunities, leading to long-term relationships, to help partners engage with members while providing members with meaningful content and learning from partners.
A la carte sponsorship sales for ANA's national industry conferences is also an important responsibility. Those conferences include Advertising Financial Management, AI and Technology, Brand Masters, B2B, Data, Digital & Social Media, In-House, Media, Measurement, Multicultural Marketing, and, of course, the Masters of Marketing. This position will supervise a direct report whose day-to-day focus is on a la carte conference sponsorship sales.
We are looking for an "insider" sales professional who already has strong relationships within the industry. The individual must be service oriented and help provide a "red carpet" experience to partners. In addition, creative thinking is a desired attribute to bring new ideas and identify new opportunities for both ANA and our partners.
Other responsibilities include:
Work closely with the SVP of Sponsorships & Partner Programs and key internal stakeholders including Marketing (to help drive awareness of partnerships/sponsorships), Logistics and the CMO group.
On-going forecasting, strategic analysis, and budgeting.
Develop sales support materials such as email blasts, sponsorship sell sheets and pricing.
Ensure that Partners fully activate their benefits across the various ANA touch points and meet appropriate deadlines.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 8-10 years of consultative sales, business development and/or account management experience a must
A deep understanding and track record of success in the marketing, media and/or advertising industry
Highly organized, detailed, accurate with very effective time management skills
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Metrics driven sales "hunter" with a professional demeanor, impeccable integrity, and high sense of urgency. A customer service focus is a must.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with and relate to all levels within and outside the organization
Ability to travel (up to 20%) to attend ANA conference and to meet regularly face-to-face with sponsors and prospects
Salary and Total Rewards Package
Starting pay range: $145,000 to $155,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
