We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities
Provide daily oversight and support to project teams to ensure projects run efficiently and meet performance goals.
Review project estimates, verify job cost entries, and confirm alignment with initial estimates.
Lead planning meetings to align team members on contract terms, schedules, and project requirements.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet deadlines.
Manage subcontractor and equipment buyouts to support project requirements and budget.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Process and manage scope changes, ensuring timely integration into project plans.
Provide material takeoffs, estimates, and pricing for changes in project scope.
Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, address concerns, and implement solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing construction projects, with renovation experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage change orders and negotiate effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex situations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and specifications.
Experience with job cost accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of financial models for various contracting methods, including fixed-price and cost-plus.
Availability for occasional on-call support, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Daily site visits required for monitoring progress and conducting meetings.
