Air Distribution Technologies Inc. ("ADTI") is seeking a results-driven Operations Project Manager to lead and manage strategic projects that support business growth, operational efficiency, and process improvement. This role requires exceptional project management expertise, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring successful project execution while maintaining high-quality standards and driving innovation across manufacturing operations.
Project Management
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, including detailed task breakdowns, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies, to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery
Lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless coordination with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contract manufacturers
Execute Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to establish clear project scope and adjust plans proactively to meet dynamic objectives and stakeholder expectations
Identify and resolve project obstacles with agility, escalate critical issues when necessary, and balance competing priorities to deliver high-impact results within tight deadlines
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Spearhead cross-functional team efforts across finance, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain to align strategic objectives and drive flawless execution
Collaborate with Continuous Improvement Leaders to identify operational inefficiencies and implement impactful enhancements
Partner with manufacturing plant and other key stakeholder teams to integrate seamless project plans that ensure successful product launches and scalable manufacturing processes
Process Improvement
Conduct in-depth reviews and optimizations of manufacturing processes, from detailed product assembly operations to overarching transactional workflows
Lead the transition of manufacturing practices to Lean methodologies, focusing on operational excellence, reduced cycle times, and improved cost efficiency
Utilize advanced problem-solving tools such as Lean and Six Sigma to drive transformative process improvements
Monitoring and Reporting
Deliver comprehensive project status reports, highlighting risks, scope changes, schedule adherence, resource utilization, and potential customer impacts
Maintain and manage detailed project timelines using tools like MS Project, ensuring milestones, interdependencies, and constraints are clearly documented and monitored
Track, analyze, and manage project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring financial discipline and adherence to approved constraints
Change Management
Design and implement effective change management strategies to support the adoption of new processes, technologies, and operational practices across diverse production teams
Provide training and communication to stakeholders to foster a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement
Quality and Customer Focus
Maintain rigorous quality and delivery standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements and expectations
Analyze project performance metrics, proactively addressing production challenges and quality concerns through data-driven solutions
Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and operational reliability
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within manufacturing or operations
Proven experience with Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement techniques
Strong proficiency in MS Project and other project management tools
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and operational excellence principles
Experience with change management and cross-functional team leadership
