Proenza Schouler is seeking a RTW Development + Production Coordinator to work on the RTW Mainline product team.
Responsibilities:
Assist with creation/maintenance of sample making charts and material sheets in development phase.
Creation of BOMs in PLM system and maintenance throughout production.
Manage set up of seasonal hand-off reviews as transition point into Production.
Set up initial BOMs for early costing scenarios - partner with VP of Production and Development Manager at the season's inception.
Assist with maintenance of style/fabric boards.
Miscellaneous assistance in Development trial/research phase.
Manage counter sampling in preparation for Production and assist with various trial exercises with new vendors' sourcing.
Manage sample trafficking between PR, Merch/Sales and Ecommerce Teams, as well as manage Collection archive process.
Manage development of Denim and Tie Dye, with Senior Manager of PD. Handle daily communication with vendors including communication of Design comments.
Contribute to Style Master creation at start of season and manage style updates.
Assist with various pre-market and runway show preparation.
Manage sampling and budgets for overseen categories.
Build and manage factory Production T&A & WIP charts, and follow up on all PPS, TOP, bulk swatch dates.
Process seasonal Garment Count from Sales Team. Issue and manage POs to factories, as well as follow up on seasonal OC's from vendors.
Manage arrivals of PPS, TOP and Shipment Samples in accordance with T&A.
Manage daily communication with overseas factories, keeping flow of production on track, and flagging to Team when there are delays, or anticipation of delays.
Update of prices from issue of order to actualization, as well as deliveries on Production PO's following weekly Production Team meetings.
Work with Tech Team to assure accuracy on PPS, TOPs. Lead BOM review.
Approve invoices and process for payment through AP.
Follow up on QC and Production shipments with vendors and Logistics.
Flagging shifts in fabric yields to Team.
Create and publish weekly Seasonal shipping report.
Support Production functions of Knitwear, working closely with Knitwear Team and vendors. In charge of approval of Knitwear care label layouts.
Follow up on quality claims and manage repairs' process.
Manage UPC and RFID files creation process, approval of layouts and distribution to vendors
Manage Production testing with 3rd party facilities and vendors. Assist with vendors' Compliance management.
Packing Lists' verification and management of discrepancies against PO's.
Hire and supervise PD/Production interns.
Qualifications:
1-3 years + experience in High End RTW within Development and/or Production
Self-motivated with positive attitude
Strong communication, organizational skills and team player
Fluency in PLM systems is a plus
Ability to adapt and thrive under pressure, fast paced environment + strict deadlines
The targeted hourly range for this role is $19-$21. Actual rate offered may be outside of this range based on factors such as, relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is hourly and eligible for overtime. Role is also eligible for additional benefits including an annual performance-based incentive program and a seasonal clothing allowance.
