The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. This role requires strong technical skills in .NET, C#, and SQL, as well as experience with API development and COBOL or Policy Administration systems. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new software applications. • Perform technical analysis and problem-solving to ensure efficient and effective development. • Follow established development methodologies and standards. • Design, develop, and test automation scripts. • Design, implement, and maintain databases. • Implement security measures to safeguard information resources. • Test and debug software applications to identify and resolve issues. • Recommend and implement software improvements and upgrades. • Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
Qualifications: • College degree in computer science, information science, or management information systems (preferred). • Minimum 8 years of IT development experience. • Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, and SQL. • Experience developing and maintaining APIs. • Aptitude for COBOL or Policy Administration systems. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
