Our client, a mid-size FinTech and Research firm, is seeking a talented Payroll & Benefits professional to join their team as soon as possible.
This person will execute on payroll, benefits, and HRIS tasks while also serving as the company's expert in payroll and benefits and collaborating closely with the HR team to provide excellent employee support. This individual must be detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient in handling payroll and benefits-related queries, adjustments, and reporting.
What you get to do...
Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll
Manage payroll and benefit adjustments, including reconciliation and monthly audits.
Address employee inquiries, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.
Administer benefits programs, including eligibility notices, enrollment, and Open Enrollment activities.
Prepare statistical reports from HRIS systems
Handle timekeeping, leave of absence, and employee record maintenance
Support the year-end payroll process, including W-2 preparation and reporting to tax authorities.
What you need to get the job done...
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in payroll, HRIS, and benefits administration
Proficiency in payroll and HRIS systems, with strong knowledge of payroll laws and benefits compliance
Experience with UKG/UltiPro is required
Advanced proficiency in Excel for reporting and data analysis
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Ability to commute to the Loop at least 3 days per week
