We are currently seeking a dynamic Land Analyst to join our forward-thinking Entitlements & Due Diligence Team. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in the acquisition stage, providing essential support to the entitlements and due diligence team. The Land Analyst's responsibilities will encompass evaluating the feasibility during the acquisitions stage and actively working with the finance department and senior management.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to assess project feasibility, profitability, and risks.
Develop financial models, perform cost-benefit analysis, and evaluate investment decisions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Develop project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with other project managers and finance teams.
Track project costs, analyze variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Forecast project financials, monitor actual expenses, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Generate regular financial reports and dashboards to provide visibility into project financial performance.
Prepare financial summaries, variance reports, and other financial documentation for project stakeholders and senior management.
Communicate financial insights, risks, and recommendations related to project finances to stakeholders.
Participate in meetings, presentations, and negotiations to communicate financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
Over 2 years of experience analyzing finances in the land development industry.
Proven experience in financial analysis, project management or related field.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, cost analysis, and risk assessment.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software/tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of operational processes and the ability to identify areas for improvement.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are critical.
Person of high ethics, integrity, and honesty with lots of passion, drive, and a sense of humor.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
