As a Systems Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing our organization's technological systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and performance. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to mentor and support Systems Analyst I team members, guiding them in their professional development and helping them grow into their roles. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Design innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Translate requirements into technical specifications and system designs.
Implement and configure software solutions, databases, and integrations.
Develop test plans and conduct thorough testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and usability of implemented solutions. Identify and address any issues or defects.
Create comprehensive documentation including system designs, technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials. Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide training and support to end-users on implemented systems and processes. Address user inquiries and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved within scope, budget, and timeline.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Systems Analyst I team members. Assist them in understanding complex concepts, troubleshooting technical issues, and developing their skills in systems analysis and design.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in systems analysis and design. Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
Other duties and assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
4+ years of experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with IT systems maintenance, administration, and security
Excellent analytical skills
High attention to detail
