We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team! This role offers the chance to work on various projects throughout Central and Southern Maine, including educational, industrial, commercial, and multifamily developments. As a Project Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the success of our projects by coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Engineer
Assist in project planning, value engineering, and milestone scheduling.
Track vendor and subcontractor progress to ensure timely completion.
Maintain project schedules and provide updates to project leadership.
Generate and maintain logs and correspondence with clients/owners.
Identify, document, and estimate costs for extra work or unanticipated activities, maintaining a project change order log.
Manage submittal transmittals and approvals with owners/engineers to ensure smooth communication and compliance.
Support the Project Manager with coordination, problem-solving, and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications for the Project Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of construction management practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Procore experience is a plus.
Valid driver's license.
