A leading manufacturer and distributor of premium food and beverage products is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee food safety compliance and quality standards. This position will collaborate across departments, ensuring compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain food safety and quality programs (BRC, HACCP, GMP, SSOP).
Train team members on food safety and quality standards.
Lead product development and innovation projects.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards for a gluten-free facility.
Address regulatory issues, consumer complaints, and quality holds.
Manage risk in innovation and productivity projects.
Oversee pest control programs and maintain a safe work environment.
Manage department budget and other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years in Quality Assurance or related leadership roles in manufacturing.
Expertise in HACCP, BRC, FSMA, organic, and kosher standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
