Brown & Brown is seeking a Field Services Engineer to join our growing team in Roseland, New Jersey!
As a Field Services Engineer, you will provide internal support for our teammates at the local office as well as remote staff. To excel in this role, you will need to provide a good combination of technical and customer service skills.
How You Will Contribute:
Support the IT infrastructure for a department or office including the physical network, servers, and applications
Support the desktop environment and physical security at the local office
Evaluate the technology process problems and recommend solutions
Provide support for complex computing environments in areas such as hardware, software, and networks
Perform support for special applications requiring extensive knowledge and expertise
Design and deliver training for enterprise tools and applications
Executes core administration tasks and functions in specific areas assigned within guidelines and service levels
Follow up on outstanding requests/incidents and ensure timely resolution
Coordinate and support the use of audio and video equipment in conference rooms
Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Expertise knowledge of Windows desktop environments, Win 10 and Office 365 Suite
4 Years + experience working in an office/enterprise setting, supporting Windows and MAC environments
Intermediate skills using and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory structure and domains including auditing and group policy
Knowledge of Information Security, Network Security, Firewall Administration, and System Administration
Security enablement on Mobile devices (iOS, Android)
Knowledge in Secure Client PC connectivity - ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN, and virtual services
File server knowledge and File Sharing systems, and SFTP applications
Experience with remote desktop support tools, VPN and VDI environments
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users

Pay Range
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
