As a Search Strategist, you will manage strategy, planning and execution of all paid search campaigns for clients that meet fall in line with their business and media goals. You will have search engine marketing experience, including pay-per-click and optimization.
Essential Functions:
Assist with the strategy development and recommendations for paid search campaigns
Manage campaigns across multiple search platforms, including Google & Bing/Yahoo, and other performance media networks
Develop campaigns with in-depth keyword research, ad copy, bid management and quality assurance testing
Responsible for campaign set-up, launches, and reporting
Utilize bid management tools to effectively achieve the highest ROI across the major search engines as well as contextual marketing
Own budget management and pacing
Conduct daily account optimizations and performance analysis against campaign goals
Provide recommendations to improve strategies, tactics, visibility, CTR, and increase conversions
Implement test initiatives such as landing page A/B testing, multivariate testing, offer testing and conduct postmortem campaign analysis, findings and next steps
Time efficient management of client deliverables and the production of weekly/monthly reporting
Discipline Specific Skills • Minimum of 3 years of experience with search engine marketing & optimization managing budgets of $25K or more monthly
Google AdWords Certified required
Experience with recommending & implementing SEM strategy (building campaigns in platform)
Expert with Google AdWords, Bing adCenter & third-party tracking (DoubleClick, Marin, Kenshoo)
Experience using Google Analytics metrics to help optimize SEM campaigns
Exceptional written, verbal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees and attention to detail and follow-through skills
