Innovative Driven is currently seeking an experienced Executive Director to join the leadership team at one of our award-winning law firm clients, based in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of law firm management experience. Candidates with this experience from within a professional healthcare setting are also encouraged to apply.
The Executive Director will handle the management and daily operations of the firm including business management and strategy, HR, general operations, facilities, technology and information systems, business development, finances, as well as the implementation of general policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage HR functions, including performance, compensation, recruiting and onboarding, retention, development and enforcement of policies and procedures, change management, coverage planning, staff timesheet approval, benefits and leave administration, participation on the 401(k) committee
Handle daily operations, including facilities, vendor management, and planning firm events.
Collaborate on finance and accounting responsibilities such as budgeting, profitability analysis, projections, shareholder compensation, development and enforcement of financial controls, and promoting operational efficiencies.
Oversee technology and information systems in support of the IT Manager
Prepare agendas and materials for Directors' meetings
Oversee firm governance, monitor legal and licensing issues
Support strategic planning for the firm's present and future
Support business development and assist in implementing best new strategies for growth
Supervise management team, administrative staff and paralegal coordinator.
Travel, on occasion, to provide support in other locations, generally within the State of Washington.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in law firm or professional healthcare services management
Minimum of 3 years' experience supervising personnel.
Preferred MBA, CLM (Certified Legal Manager), or SHRM-SCP, or equivalent experience.
Strong human resources skills, including a working knowledge of current federal, state and local HR laws, regulations and standards.
