Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
3+ years of experience with throughput simulation or material flow simulation experience (can be flex here with years of experience and rate)

Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Throughput Simulation Engineer in Warren, Michigan. The Engineer will be responsible for throughput analysis and simulation of new vehicle programs through all phases the vehicle process. There will be a lot of collaboration with manufacturing engineering teams in the design and optimization of any current and future manufacturing systems and supporting various plants with their throughput improvements as well as crating material flow simulations.
Other responsibilities include:
Implement simulation deliverables for assigned new/major Vehicle programs.
Optimally run experiments/analysis, interpret results, and generate standard reports
Respond to throughput simulation pulls from assigned manufacturing facilities
Support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
Extract necessary inputs from Manufacturing Planning & Engineering documents
Interface with Execution and Process Leads to support total plant throughput strategy
Coordinate with various teams for target setting
Utilize and contribute to the improvement of standardized work
Deliver results to customers
Interface with execution/process teams for validating/updating Data Sets
Support development/refinement of station level data
