Job Description
The Senior Specialist, Marketing Data & Analytics plays a pivotal role in advancing\ data-driven marketing strategy. This position involves conducting in-depth analysis and generating actionable insights to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and recommend strategic actions. By synthesizing data from various sources, this individual supports key marketing and enrollment initiatives aimed at driving student growth and achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct marketing and enrollment analyses, delivering executive summaries, detailed reports, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Serve as a key user of marketing data systems and channels, understanding vendors, datasets, and KPIs.
Develop dynamic visualizations to measure business objectives effectively.
Operate as an internal consultant, communicating insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Provide data-driven insights to assess risks, identify opportunities, and validate trends.
Craft compelling data stories tailored to audiences ranging from senior executives to frontline managers.
Evaluate data sources to understand audience behaviors, outcomes, and opportunities for improving marketing performance.
Analyze and visualize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and enrollment strategies.
Recommend new performance measurements and validate their impact on business success.
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to unlock process optimizations and improve conversion rates.
Manage multiple projects and priorities independently to support various internal clients.
Provide insights on attribution data and recommend enhancements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Computer Sciences, Math, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years in an analytical capacity with databases and data reporting; marketing and sales analytics experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong visualization expertise, particularly with Power BI or similar tools.
Proficiency in MS SQL and/or Big Query.
Experience with Google Analytics and Salesforce data preferred.
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to address both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
Analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to navigate a matrixed organization.
Service-oriented mindset, delivering tailored research and reporting to meet diverse user needs.
Additional Information
This position requires in-office attendance four (4) days a week in Columbia, MD, or Chicago, IL.
Compensation: The expected salary range is between $53,520.90 and $96,736.53, adjusted based on factors such as experience, training, location, certifications, and departmental budgets.
