Responsibilities: • Assist in the development, design and execution of programs and project-specific change strategies across training, engagement, communications, business readiness, measurement, sustainment, and post go live support • Assist in the development, documentation and execution of a set of actionable and targeted project specific change management plans - including Communication Plan, Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Sponsor Roadmap, Coaching Plan, Training Plan, Resistance Management Plan, Readiness Assessments and post-live adoption management plan • Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side change to project change activities. • Identification and management of all relevant stakeholder groups, tracking engagement to ensure consistent support across impacted groups • Draft and edit a variety of communications materials and products, including talking points, informational summaries, weekly newsletters and intranet site content • Lead execution of a wide variety of scheduled and one-off communications for companywide and targeted audiences (senior leadership, cross-functional teams, customers and third-party vendors) to provide consistent and effective communication to various stakeholders • Create and maintain change assets to support communications and engagement needs of each project, including but not limited to videos, one-pagers, posters, presentations • Support an active group of change agents via regular meetings and online support tools • Support the change team including employees, contractors and 3 rd -party consultants in the execution of the wider change effort • Develop and manage measurement system to track and evaluate program and project success metrics; draws insights and recommends actions to more effectively drive change adoption • Work with Program Change Lead, PMO and Project Managers to ensure change management activities are integrated into the overall project plans and kept up to date • Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders within all organizational levels, building trust and gaining credibility to achieve goals and gather feedback • Support readiness assessments, via interviews and surveys, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner • Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop corrective action plans • Work with communication, training, HR and OD specialists in the execution and tracking of plans • Drive employee experience activities based on awareness of the details of the change and the audiences impacted by the change • Problem solve, adjust priorities, tasks and resources to ensure communication and change plans stay on track • Identify, escalate and resolve issues critical to project success • Work independently and contribute to the team in a collaborative, creative environment
Requirements and Skills: • A solid understanding of how to effectively managing organizational change; experience with a recognized change methodology is a plus • General knowledge of the principles and practices of effective Project Management • Understanding of various change management strategies and tools and experience with execution of those strategies and tools with effective results • Experience with large-scale organizational change effort a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must • Experience writing for a wide variety of communication channels, including presentations, email, social media, print and digital • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with all levels in an organization • Excellent active listening skills • Problem solving and root cause identification skills • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in constantly changing situations • Ability to prioritize deliverables and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrated ability to prepare and interpret and make recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative data • Must be a team player and able to influence, work with and through others towards a common goal • Consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, self-starter, and a results-driven commitment to success • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree in Change Management, Communications, Organizational development, Training & Development, Human Resources, Leadership or other related area a plus • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Organizational Change Management supporting large scale change initiatives • Change certification preferred (i.e.: CCMP, PROSCI) • Understanding of the Utility and/or Home Services business highly preferred • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) • Experience with video and graphics tools such as Vyond and Canva and engagement tools such as PollEv and Survey Monkey • Experience with technological change projects a plus
