The Quality Auditor will report to the Quality Manager and be responsible for conducting detailed quality audits of products, processes, and documentation within the distribution center. Your primary objective is to maintain and improve the quality of our products and services by identifying issues, recommending corrective actions, and verifying compliance with quality standards. This role will be reporting on-site daily at our office in Haslet, TX.

Quality Audits: Conducting thorough and systematic audits of products, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures
Product Inspection: Inspectingincoming and outgoing products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications, and identifying and documenting defects or discrepancies
Documentation Review: Verifying the accuracy and completeness of paperwork, including packing slips, labels, and quality control records
Data Analysis:Collecting and analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and reporting findings to the Quality Manager with recommended corrective actions
Non-Conformance Reporting: Documenting and reporting any non-conforming products or processes, assisting in determining the root causes, and collaborating with relevant departments to implement corrective actions
Training: Assisting in the training of warehouse personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices
Continuous Improvement: Participating actively in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and procedures
Communication: Maintaining open and clear communication with the Quality Manager, Warehouse Supervisors, and other relevant teams to address quality-related issues promptly
Compliance: Ensuring that the distribution center operates in compliance with relevant quality regulations and standards
Performing other duties as assigned
About You
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Previous experience in quality control or auditing in a warehouse or distribution center setting
Knowledge of quality management systems and quality control methodologies
Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and trends
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in using computer software for data analysis and reporting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Quality auditor certification is a plus

The salary for this position is $18.00 per hour.
The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
