Havas Media Group North America, the Media Experience agency, is looking for a Supervisor to join the Digital Investment Team, part of our global community of 10,000 team members who are focused on using Meaningful Media to make a meaningful difference to brands, businesses, and people.
The Digital Investments team is focused on building digital media campaigns that directly deliver upon approved strategies and operationally managing those campaigns from start to finish. They own the digital buying approach and media investment decisions on behalf of our clients. The Digital Investments Supervisor manages the media portfolio and ensures the proper execution of digital media campaigns. The Digital Investment Supervisor will work closely with the Digital Investment Director to provide media investment recommendations and oversee Buyers to properly execute the campaign. They will maintain constant communications with all areas of agency capabilities, including search, social, mobile and programmatic. They will contribute to Havas Media's knowledge base by creating and sharing case studies, writing vendor summaries and be a presence in the industry through attending events and more.
A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
Define digital media investment portfolio recommendations
Manage buying approach and investment decisions
Collaborate with the planning and strategy teams to ensure alignment
Meet with vendors on a regular basis and provide point-of-view papers
Conduct negotiations with media sales reps
Present media recommendation to clients
Review and approve RFPs
Evaluate proposals and make appropriate media selections
Conducting negotiations with media sales reps
Keep up to date on media industry trends and share internally with colleagues
Understanding of 3rd party as server tools (DFA/Sizmek/Flashtalking), as needed
Oversee campaign performance and recommend necessary optimizations
Responsible for the identification, evaluation and negotiation of digital media buys that align with the defined media strategy and goals
Work closely with the Digital Investment Director to provide media investment recommendations and oversee the Digital Investments Buyer to properly execute the campaign
Maintain constant communications with all areas of agency capabilities, including search, social, mobile and programmatic
WHAT YOU'LL NEED/SKILLS:
At least 4 years of experience in digital media planning and/or buying
Solid understanding of digital landscape
Ability to identify and evaluate digital media opportunities
Experience defining media plan details and negotiating with media vendors
Strong computing skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced technology-oriented environment
Proven experience with digital media platforms is required: DoubleClick DCM, Sizmek, Prisma, Comscore, etc.
