IPC is currently seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our team in Clarks Hill, IN. This individual will support our team ensuring smooth and effective operations across employee relations, hiring processes, time management systems, and general HR administration. This position is a vital role in maintaining communication, tracking processes, and fostering employee engagement and retention.

Primary Responsibilities:

Employee and Communication Support
  • Assist communicating common employee problems and concerns.
  • Provide support in employee relations issues to maintain a positive workplace environment
  • Manage and oversee store-inventory
  • Help organize and facilitate safety meetings for our Recycle and New Pallet operations.
  • Update communication boards and employee engagement materials

Recruit and Hiring Support
  • Assist in managing the application process from start to finish.
  • Review applications and schedule interviews with candidates.
  • Track applicant progress and update the team on status of candidates.
  • Prepare offer letters, verify I-9 information, and facilitate drug screening and new hire paperwork.
  • Schedule and conduct employee orientation sessions

Time Management Maintenance
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the daily attendance tracker.
  • Enter all new hires into On-Time and Employee Navigator systems
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies using the camera system to research missed punches.

General HR administrative Duties
  • Perform clerical tasks including letter writing, photocopying, faxing, scanning, and email communication.
  • Accurately enter data entry into multiple spreadsheets and other systems as directed

Employee Retention and Engagement
  • Assist implementing and tracking retention programs, including follow-up and stay interviews, as well as annual evaluations
  • Manage the culture chip program and recognition initiatives and awards
  • Administer and monitor the employee referral program

Qualifications:
  • Bilingual English and Spanish (Required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business, HR, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven administrative or HR support experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
