Job Summary: This role provides support to Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC) at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. Support includes a full range of Information Warfare training and operations, Information Systems & Operations, Communications, Administrative Support, and Knowledge Based Services across the air, space, and cyber domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with ACC stakeholders and other entities to facilitate the integration and coordination of IW capabilities into various exercises for the Combat Air Force. This includes identifying, developing, validating, deconflicting, and prioritizing IW exercise objectives at different levels, such as tactical, operational, and strategic to provide learning objectives, tactics, techniques & procedures, and identify training gaps for prioritization of ACC's role of operate, train, and equip. Draft input narratives and other related products as needed (e.g., trifold)
Complete resource analysis (to include, but not limited money, personnel, infrastructure) and comparisons to identify and recommend solutions.
Coordinate with ACC and external parties to analyze, validate, and submit resource analysis, comparisons, and recommendations to identify solutions related to personnel, infrastructure, and funding related to support IW integration into exercises effectively.
Coordinate and collaborate with ACC and key stakeholders to implement DAF IW Strategy focuses on integrating IW capabilities into exercises, validating IW concepts, collaborating with relevant entities, and managing resources to enhance the readiness, proficiency, and effectiveness of IW capabilities within the Air Force.
Assist with developing related branch inputs to division annual spend plan, to include, but not limited to determining specific dollar amounts.
Facilitate and/or attend working groups as needed and disseminate minutes and/or notes within 3 business days; track progress of an tasks resulting from event and provide monthly updates at a minimum.
Qualifications:
Requires active Top Secret Clearance.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a staff in a NAF or higher preferably in a military or government setting. Candidates experience will demonstrate knowledge and experience in program management, either in military or government settings to demonstrate including the ability to effectively manage programs, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
Candidates has at least 4 years of experience in execution and integration of USG Information Warfare (IW) capabilities. The experience should cover areas such as cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, information operations, ISR support to IW policy and guidance, training requirements, IW weapon systems, and IW organizational construct.
Candidates has knowledge and 3 years of experience in USG exercise policy, planning, coordination, and execution. The experience should demonstrate an understanding of Tier 1 and Tier 2 exercise policies, the ability to develop exercise plans, coordinate exercise activities, and execute exercises effectively.
