Perform routine cell culture activities such as media and buffer preparation, cell culture initiation, propagation, media replacement, and cell cryopreservation following aseptic and GLP procedures.
Maintain consistent supplies of laboratory materials, including reagents, media, and buffers; manage inventory and document all stock levels.
Conduct regular maintenance of laboratory equipment such as incubators, biosafety cabinets (BSCs), freezers, and other essential instruments. Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained according to specifications.
Continuously monitor laboratory equipment and environmental factors (temperature, humidity, etc.) to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Collaborate with project scientists to prepare cells and deliver results to meet the requirements of multiple ongoing projects. This may require flexible working hours.
Carry out fundamental laboratory protocol studies, including calculations, data analysis, and reporting of findings.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to handle instruments and chemicals, including organic solvents, safely.
Required Education/Qualifications/Skills:
BS degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in cell biology or relevant biotechnology training. QC experience preferred.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and GLP standards.
Proficiency in laboratory equipment maintenance and routine troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cell culture maintenance and cryopreservation.
