Metro Nissan of Dallas is seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing team. This role is vital in ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and providing an exceptional service experience. As the first point of contact for service customers, the Service Advisor plays a key role in diagnosing concerns, recommending maintenance, and ensuring seamless communication between the customer and the service team.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
Greet customers warmly and professionally, establishing trust and rapport.
Listen to and understand customer vehicle concerns and needs.
Provide detailed explanations of service and repairs, ensuring transparency and clarity.
Service Coordination:
Schedule and manage service appointments efficiently.
Accurately document customer concerns, vehicle symptoms, and service history.
Liaise between technicians and customers to communicate repair needs and updates.
Upselling & Recommendations:
Review vehicle inspection reports to recommend necessary maintenance and repairs.
Explain the benefits of preventative maintenance to customers.
Offer additional services and upsell dealership programs to enhance customer satisfaction.
Administrative Tasks
Prepare accurate cost estimates, invoices, and service orders.
Process payments and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dealership promotions, warranties, and service plans.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role (automotive experience preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
