As they continue growing, they are looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality programs, oversee QA/QC processes, and drive team performance in Lake Forest, CA. This role supports high-performance electronic test systems for the global semiconductor industry, ensuring product excellence and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
What YOU get to DO in this high-profile position:
Manage and enhance QA/QC programs, including quality inspections, issue resolution, and supplier performance monitoring.
Oversee quality processes, tools, and documentation to ensure continuous improvement.
Set objectives and KPIs for the quality team, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with company goals.
Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and clarify roles and responsibilities within the team.
Build strong relationships with internal teams (Operations, Field Service, Global QA) and strategic customers.
Prepare annual expense proposals for training, certifications, and resources.
Report regularly to upper management on quality metrics, team performance, and key initiatives.
Handle additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational needs.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field or related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in a Quality Manager role, with semiconductor industry experience preferred.
Proficiency in QA methodologies (CAR/8D reporting, SPC, KPIs, 5S practices) and product validation.
Strong knowledge of failure analysis and quality issues in mechanical, electrical, and thermal applications.
Experience with supplier quality activities and ATE production is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a proactive approach to quality management.
Ability to work on-site in Lake Forest, CA, with domestic and international travel as needed.
