Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will assist with performing financial analysis, monitoring properties' financial and physical condition for elevated risk situations and take appropriate actions to communicate such risks. This candidate will be able to provide quality, efficient services in accordance with investor requirements, provide top quality and efficient service to borrowers as well as to other departments within the company and ensure that practices, policies and procedures maximize the effective and efficient use of technology and staff resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare broker opinions of value and requests for proposals for commercial real estate transactions, including, but not limited to, market research, financial modeling, and composition of executive summaries.
Analyze and research databases, including CoStar and Real Capital Analytics.
Utilize excel to organize sales comps, rent comps, and owner databases.
Develop property market and location overviews for office, industrial and retail properties.
Help prepare Offering Memorandums, and responsible for all sales comps, rent comps, tenant profiles, market overviews, and location write ups.
Thoroughly understand and review real estate documents (leases, loan documents, property taxes, appraisals, etc.) to extract critical information for pro forma analysis, and uncover any potential concerns or terms that would be pertinent to underwriting.
Coordinate the receipt and facilitate the approval and delivery of buyer's due diligence.
Participate in weekly office meetings with producers to track and discuss deal flow, deal status, market conditions and review new client leads.
Key holder to all Capital Markets team databases.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 0-3 years of previous financial analysis accounting experience.
Intermediate knowledge of PC applications such as MS-Excel ad MS-Word.
ARGUS experience a plus
