The Manufacturing Technician 3 - 2nd Shift at the South Broadway site is responsible for weighing and formulating products according to current manufacturing procedures, cleaning up equipment and manufacturing suites after production operations, complete batch records during the production of products, and always follow all safety and quality policies. Job duties include:
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:30PM.
Weigh various media powders and compounds according to established batch records and procedures in support of the formulations group.
Follow production operating procedures and safety policies at all times.
Set-up and prepare products according to current manufacturing procedures.
Transport chemicals and equipment to and from processes including use of pallet jacks or dollies.
Ensure quality and quantity of product throughout production process.
Wear appropriate PPE for production processes which may include full face respirators, PAPRs, gloves, suits, etc.
Setup and perform required manual cleaning or disinfection for rooms and equipment and processes.
Clean-up equipment and working areas after production operations.
Communicate the status of production operations/equipment and bring deviations to the attention of supervisor.
Provide a complete and accurate batch record at the conclusion of production operations consistent with quality guidelines.
Be able to enter hours worked and raw materials used into SAP.
Ensure all applicable log books have been filled out completely as required by current procedures.
Identify malfunctions in equipment operation and with appropriate approval take corrective actions, such as reconfiguring equipment, adjustment of set points or adjusting operating parameters.

Wear appropriate PPE for production processes including but not limited to full face respirators, gloves, and suits
Lifting and pushing up to 50 pounds
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
1+ years' experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge in chemistry, mathematics, and science.
SAP Experience.
Experience with safe chemical handling methods.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong computer, mechanical, troubleshooting, interpersonal and organizational skill.
