About the Role
Velociti Services is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Manager to support our NJEDA Real Estate Department account. This role requires a strong foundation in real estate accounting, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and a collaborative approach to work. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of professionalism and dedication, ensuring that financial tasks are completed accurately and in compliance with company standards.
Apply a thorough understanding of GAAP and GASB standards to maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions meet compliance standards.
Will be responsible for locations including North Brunswick, Trenton, and additional branch offices across New Jersey. Must be able to collaborate on billing responsibilities and project scoping, coordinating with both NJEDA and external contractors for capital and budgetary project assessments.
Develop, manage, and review operational budgets, reporting discrepancies promptly.
Generate and report forecasts of anticipated expenditures, providing valuable insights for budgeting and financial planning.
Gather tenant expense data to prepare Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reports and statements.
Collect, analyze, and compile financial data to produce internal and external reports that meet organizational needs.
Process revenue and expense entries within the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and consistency across accounts.
Manage high-volume checking accounts, reporting on receipts and disbursements, including interactions with NJEDA and service providers.
Verify and maintain daily time reporting within the internal system, ensuring accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
Provide manual entries and maintain accurate time records in Excel as needed.
