Summary/Objective

We are building a Community Bank for the modern world and are looking for talented, passionate professionals to join our team. We’re looking for a dynamic and growth driven Treasury Management Consultant to contribute to the expansion of our business and commercial relationships. This role be responsible for supporting the Maryland Eastern Shore region as a Treasury Management Consultant. This includes the acquisition and growth of Treasury Management sales and related revenue as well as deposit growth of Treasury Management relationships.

Essential Functions

  1. Serve as a Treasury Management advisor within the Bank to develop and provide education on Treasury Management products, pricing, and sales approach.
  2. Assist the Commercial Banking Executive team with Treasury Management relationship pricing, analysis proforma and proposal completion. Orchestrate customer and prospect sales calls to expand business relationships.
  3. Work closely and meet regularly with Commercial Banking Executive teams to discuss pipelines and approach for Treasury Management prospect and client meetings.
  4. Prepare Commercial Banking client Treasury Management and deposit annual review presentations and attend annual review and ongoing meetings to expand upon Treasury Management and deposit business.
  5. Managing and pre-plan tasks and meeting schedule to maintain an effective support of Treasury Management clients and business units.
  6. Prepare and present comprehensive sales proposals, analysis proformas and presentations to customers in addition to participating in and leading product training for various audiences.
  7. Identify Treasury Management and related deposit product and process improvements and solutions by communicating client and prospect needs.
  8. Review, analyze and understand clients’ Treasury Management needs and conduct professional demonstrations as needed.
  9. Stay abreast of Treasury Management related system functionality as enhancements/releases are deployed and keep up on Treasury Management product knowledge, industry trends and competitor offerings.
  10. Understand any potential risk associated with any Treasury Management product and working with the appropriate departments to ensure all risks are identified and mitigated where necessary.

Other Duties

  1. Complies with all policies and procedures as applied to the Bank's BSA/AML policy.
  2. Perform other duties as assigned.

  7. Strong understanding of value propositions related to treasury service applications within corporate treasury function.

  9. Success in growth of Treasury Management and commercial relationships.
  10. Focus on growth in Treasury Management related revenue and deposits.
  11. Success in meeting and exceeding assigned goals and objectives.
  12. Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills and ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to generate, manage and grow Treasury Management customer relationships.
  13. Expert level knowledge of deposit products and Treasury Management products and services.
  14. Solid knowledge of commercial credit and credit quality.
  15. Broad knowledge of overall bank products and services.
  16. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills.
  17. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.

Physical Demands

This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.

Travel

Travel may be required for this position.

Education and Experience

  1. 5+ years of banking related sales experience preferably in Treasury Management sales and business development.
  2. Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Support customer service activities, business development initiatives, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  4. Possess a strong sales aptitude with a proven track record of success.
  5. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office with advanced training in Microsoft Excel and Power Point preferred.

This position is classified as exempt, and as such it is paid on a salaried basis. The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 annually.

This position is classified as full-time and the benefits package includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance. Employees may select from coverage options which range from employee only to family coverage. Full-time employees receive either Paid Time Off (PTO) or separate paid vacation and paid illness leave accrual. This is in addition to a paid holiday schedule, paid bereavement, and paid parental leave. Benefits also include company paid life insurance and paid long-term disability coverage. Our bank also offers a 401(k) with a company match.
