The Plant Director is responsible for the overall operation, leadership, and strategic direction of the manufacturing plant. This role ensures that production goals are met, quality standards are maintained, and operational efficiencies are achieved. In addition, the Plant Manager will be developing for annual budget planning and execution and leading the production team to increase productivity and profitability within the manufacturing operation of facility.

Leadership & Strategy:
Develop and implement strategic goals for the plant in alignment with company objectives.
Lead and mentor the plant leadership team, ensuring accountability and alignment across all departments.
Build and maintain a high-performance culture to meet productivity goals
Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production schedules, quality targets, and cost objectives are achieved.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practice as defined CFR Title 21, SQF and other company standards
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the plant budget, controlling costs while achieving financial targets.
Analyze key performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Workforce Management:
Promote a safe and inclusive workplace, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain high-quality standards in production and delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Partner with quality assurance teams to address product or process issues promptly.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between the plant and corporate functions, including supply chain, finance, and HR.
Work closely with the Safety department to ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies and procedures to provide a safe workplace for our employees.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align plant goals with overall company strategy.
Qualification requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a related field
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a proven track record of operational success.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or equivalent preferred
Experience working in food manufacturing strongly preferred
