As a Relationship Specialist, you'll perform all activities supporting client retention in our mid-sized accounts division. You will maximize retention by working with the client, ADP associates, and ADP leadership to resolve any issues that are within our control and may affect the client's decision to stay with ADP. You carry the weight of ADP's client satisfaction in your hands.Every day, through pricing negotiations and concessions, resolving service-related issues, having proactive outreach, and utilizing survey follow-up programs, you will cultivate relationships with clients and ADP associates, anticipate clients' needs, and report to management with possible solutions based on those needs.

What you'll do: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day
Building Relationships: You will serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to your clients and internal partners while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards. You will work independently and collaboratively as part of various teams to build relationships and focus on client needs to build retention and minimize loss via phone, virtually, or by visiting clients. You will perform appropriate follow up to ensure future client satisfaction.
Negotiate and Strengthen: You will negotiate new pricing/multi-year price agreements as appropriate while strengthening the relationships and needs of your clients. You will engage Business Unit contact when pricing concerns arise. You will respond to annual price increase inquiries and negotiate concessions as appropriate. You will engage and partner with appropriate departments for First-Year Client Experience issue resolution and follow-up.
Reporting: You will coordinate, participate, and report on client outreach programs supporting loss reduction efforts to include coordinating, participating, and reporting on First-Year Client Experience programs. You will keep up-to-date market penetration and competitive product reports. You will maintain client responses and surveys to include leading resolution of concerns independently and in conjunction with appropriate departments.
Management and Teamwork: You will monitor team queues to ensure team members meet and balance workloads. You will coordinate and monitor tasks to ensure issues are resolved timely and accurately. You may participate in pilots, councils, and team meetings.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
