Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Hialeah, FL that is seeking a System Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Write and utilize scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation of security tasks


• Selecting, designing, deploying, and operationalizing technologies


• Timeline and project-based efforts with goals and milestones


• Access control lists (ACLs) to create secure network segments

REQUIREMENTS:

• Network Segmentation: Deep understanding of VLANs, and firewalls


• Linux: Proficient in Linux systems administration, including hardening, troubleshooting, and secure configuration


• Protocols: Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security protocols (SSL/TLS, IPSec)


• IT Systems: Ability to understand IT applications and systems and how they impact downstream processes


• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently


• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of security

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
