Transcript Evaluator (INTERNAL POSTING)


Type of Position:

Responsibilities:



  • Evaluates transcripts from other colleges and universities.

  • Evaluates military records.

  • Evaluates and audits records converted from previous student information system.

  • Processes instructor initiated grade changes.

  • Evaluates and records credits from Credit by Exam (Advance Standing), Tech-Prep, Articulated Credit, CLEP, Advanced Placement Credit, Life Experience Learning and all other nontraditional credit requests for academic credit and course repetition/grade replacements.

  • Updates/corrects TSI status and core complete status.

  • Processes incomplete grades to "Fs."

  • Processes official transcripts.

  • Processes all deferments and enrollment certifications.






  • Assists Admissions Clerk with entry of student applications.

  • Assists with updates and corrections to general information in student files-hard copy and computer. This includes name changes, address changes, change of major and Social Security number changes.

  • Cross trains for other functions in the Admissions and Records Office

  • Assists with registration and graduation processes as required.

  • Performs other appropriate duties as may be determined by the Registrar.








Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited two-year college with an associate degree (when applicable, demonstrated work experience may be substituted for education)
