We are pleased to announce the opening for a Senior Solutions Architect - Capture and Development Lead , who will join our Technical Solutions Team in Huntsville, AL and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for designing and developing beautiful and meaningful products for our customers that solve their toughest challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Design:
    Lead the design and development of system architectures for complex, scalable applications. Ensure that designs are aligned with business goals, performance, security, and scalability requirements.
  • Business Development:
    Collaborate with business development teams to identify new business opportunities. Provide technical expertise during client meetings and pitches to ensure alignment between business objectives and technological capabilities. Author proposals for new or continuing work in our digital ecosystem area.
  • Innovation & Solutioning:
    Continuously research emerging technologies and industry trends to develop innovative solutions that drive business value. Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve products and services.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Work closely with product management and other departments to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and prioritize features for the development team.
  • Leadership & Mentorship:
    Lead and mentor a team of engineers, guiding them in best practices for architecture design, development processes, and technical decision-making.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure high-quality solutions through rigorous design reviews, code reviews, and adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Cross-functional Communication:
    Effectively communicate architectural decisions, technical constraints, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

  • You will need a Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as Software Engineering or Computer Science OR a Bachelor's degree in a nontechnical field with relevant technical certification and training. Years of experience can substitute in lieu of a degree.
  • You will need 10+ years of full-time professional experience in software architecture design and implementation.
  • You will need 7+ years of experience leading a software team across multiple disciplines.
  • You will need 7+ years of experience in modern cloud technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, AWS, Azure).
  • You will need 7+ years of experience in DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • You will need experience authoring one or more proposals while working collaboratively to answer predefined requirements.
  • You must possess or can obtain an active SECRET clearance.
  • You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of architecture design for complex government systems
  • Experience in leading large proposal development efforts as a capture lead, coordinating with multiple departments to meet deadlines and requirements
  • Experience with cross domain solutions
  • Cloud Certifications from AWS and/or Azure
  • Agile or SAFe Agile certifications
  • Active SECRET or above clearance
