The information Technology center provides IT services and support for the Southwest Research Enterprise. We serve the IT needs of over 3,000 employees while maintaining a secure network and computing environment.
Objectives of this Role:
Support the Information Technology Department with clerical and administrative.
Work closely with the Administrative Assistant to serve a 90 member Department.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Clerical tasks will include activities such as simple data entry, coordinating shipping, organizing interviews, use of office equipment, and organizing and maintaining files.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed.
Prepare travel authorizations, expense accounts and check requests.
Support document management/tracking functions.
Mail delivery and purchasing coordination.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
1 years: Working knowledge Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
Experience in a clerk position is desired.
Must be able to follow instructions and maintain sensitive information; work interpersonally as a member of a group; and practice regular attendance during a defined workday and work week.
Strong communication skills are required.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements:
