  • Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.

  • Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients.

  • Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests.

  • Interprets laboratory and test results.

UM Shore Medical Group at Cambridge, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking full-time experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Cambridge, MD. Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program and National Board Certification in specialty area required.

  • Possesses and maintains current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP preferred)

  • Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.

  • Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.

  • Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
