The City of Middletown is accepting resumes for the position of Network Administrator.
The position is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house data, voice-over-IP, and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs), wireless networks (WLANs), and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, the Network Administrator will participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user training where required.
Requirements: Graduation from an accredited two-year college or university with major course work in Information Systems or Computer Science; two to four years' experience in helpdesk administration; or equivalent combination of training and experience is required. Position requires effective communication and ability to climb ladders as well as walking or driving to the work areas occupied by various computer users.
Salary Range: $66,281 to $95,805 plus excellent benefits.
