Job Description:

Calendar ManagementCoordinate with multiple teams and departments to gather and update class and activity schedules for the monthly Hub calendar.Manage a centralized process for collecting event details, including date, time, description, audience, and any special requirements.Compile and draft the monthly calendar, ensuring accuracy and avoiding scheduling conflicts.Monitor and manage last-minute changes, cancellations, or rescheduling as needed.Utilize calendar tools (e.g., Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams) to streamline processes and maintain accessibility.Meeting SupportOrganize and prepare for staff meetings, including creating and distributing agendas, compiling necessary materials, and recording meeting minutes.Coordinate the setup of class spaces, ensuring they are fully prepared with the required equipment and materials prior to each session.Actively participate in staff meetings, supervision sessions, peer support for peer supporters, and team/group activities, and attend PRN all staff meetings.Office ManagementOversee office supply inventory and ensure timely ordering and restocking to meet organizational needs.Manage workspace requirements, including organization, cleanliness, and functionality of common areas.Support overall office operations by streamlining processes and ensuring a well-organized, efficient work environment.IT SupportEnsure all technology equipment, including printers, check-in kiosks, and other office devices, are operating efficiently and consistently.Conduct routine checks to identify and address potential issues before they impact daily operations.Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues.Coordinate with the Hub IT office to escalate and resolve complex technical problems promptly.Maintain clear communication with staff regarding the status of reported issues and expected resolutions.Peer SupportFoster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of empathy, respect, and continuous improvement.Stay informed about best practices in peer support and recovery-oriented services, incorporating new insights into the team's approach.Interface with peers, colleagues, service providers, family members, and community members in an empathetic, professional manner, representing the agency with a high level of professionalism.Facilitate and/or co-facilitate small and large group classes on recovery-related topics, including sharing your personal journey of recovery.Establish a rapport with people of various cultural and economic backgrounds.AdministrativeGreet visitors in a friendly and professional manner, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk and ensuring all individuals are signed in appropriately.Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members or departments.Respond to inquiries from individuals seeking information about services, programs, and resources.Provide information about programs, resources, and referrals tailored to peers needs.Complete and assist individuals in filling out First Time Guest and Hub interest forms.Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and provide support as needed.Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards when handling sensitive information.Program DevelopmentAssist leadership in the ongoing development of administrative Recovery Hub duties.Collect and organize feedback from participants.All other duties assigned by leadership.Qualifications:Personal history of recovery and a strong commitment to the principles of peer support.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and contribute to a positive team culture.Ability to manage time, complete tasks accordingly.Excellent communication (written and oral), organizational, and interpersonal skills.Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently and/or within a team.Effective conflict resolution skills.Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, electronic health record software, presentation software, and all other Microsoft Office Suite applications. Extremely organized, focused, and excellent time management skills.High School Diploma RequiredCurrent NC Certified Peer Support Specialist.Valid NC Drivers License.
