We're looking for a Salesforce release admin to join our ranks. In this position, you'll be responsible for coordinating software releases with our Salesforce platform. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the success of our release builds, installation procedures, source control management, and issue tracking. You'll also work closely with our Quality Assurance team to ensure that final versions are up to organizational standards. In doing so, you'll support our Salesforce release management objective to plan and execute application releases with a 99.5 percent accuracy rate.
Key Responsibilities
Automating application deployments by working with DevOps engineers and the Development team
Ensuring that application release candidates have met all security and compliance guidelines, tested successfully, and gained business approval and owner sign-off
Coordinating releases to production after business hours and based on service level agreement guidelines, and serving as the primary point of contact
Assessing the need for potential rollbacks during release implementation and obtaining the necessary approvals
Facilitating lessons-learned meetings for release issues and following through on resolutions
Assisting with release management activities to improve practices, processes, and projects that drive value for the business

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in an Agile development framework
Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Additional Skills and Knowledge
BS or equivalent and 4-7 years of work experience in computer sciences or related field, or equivalent combination
Minimum 4+ years of software release experience with commercial off-the-shelf applications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office tools
Willingness to occasionally travel overnight (in most cases by air)
Able to work outside of normal business hours, as your work schedule will be affected by project schedules
