Location: Gainesville, GA, 30507 (Hybrid-1x/Week)

Type: Direct Hire, Full Time Permanent.

***Schedule: Hybrid (One month onsite for training, then one day onsite weekly and as needed)

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst II - EPIC ClinDoc to support, configure, and optimize clinical information systems. This mid-level role involves collaborating with clinical teams to translate user needs into efficient workflows, maintaining system performance, and leading small projects to enhance electronic medical record (EMR) functionality. The ideal candidate has strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering solutions that improve patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to address issues related to clinical information systems.

Plan, design, implement, and maintain clinical application functionality, including upgrades and new system deployments.

Troubleshoot, configure and maintain clinical operating systems, hardware, and software.

Develop and execute standardized testing methodologies for system changes and upgrades.

Provide clinical system education and create up-to-date training materials in collaboration with system educators.

Facilitate reporting and analysis of information from source systems to meet organizational needs.

Act as a liaison between clinical departments and IT, ensuring seamless communication and support.

Contribute to quality improvement programs for clinical systems to enhance patient care and safety.

Stay informed on healthcare regulations, industry changes, and vendor technology to ensure compliance.

Provide on-call support and assist with budget planning for clinical IT software and hardware.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Associate's or Technical Degree. Equivalent IT or operational experience considered.

Experience: 5+ years in IT application or related operational roles.

Certifications: As applicable to assigned systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Certifications: EPIC ClinDoc or similar IT applications.

Experience: Hands-on experience supporting clinical information systems in healthcare settings.

Key Skills and Abilities:

Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Effective communicator with experience in cross-department collaboration.

Knowledge of clinical workflows and EMR optimization.

Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and quality improvement programs.

Team-centric, analytical, and organized approach to system enhancements.
