The Microsoft 365 Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive support, development, and maintenance across all Microsoft Office 365 platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, mail configuration, collaboration tools, deployment features, and cloud security. The role requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical expertise to optimize the use of Microsoft 365 tools in alignment with organizational needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the administration of the Microsoft 365 application suite (including but not limited to Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Adv. Threat Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Cloud App Security, O365 Security and Compliance)
• Primary administrator and subject matter expert for the M365 suite guiding the proper configuration and ongoing maintenance
• Maintains, optimizes, and troubleshoots SharePoint and Teams sites, mailboxes, distribution lists, mail flow, and mail security rules
• Works with the Cybersecurity Analyst to analyze and track threats to the O365 tenant
• Manages InTune and Autopilot for software packaging, distribution, imaging, group policies, and system security
• Proofing new Microsoft services and providing recommendations
• Works with O365 Analyst to provide ongoing training and tips for the organization's continued adoption of M365 Suite
• Maintaining integrations with Active Directory
• Collaborate with IT analysts and engineers in supporting the environment
• Other duties as assigned
• The ability to tailor verbal and written communications to employees with diverse technical skill sets
• Perform as a high-functioning member of the IT team

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree (including completed courses in relevant areas such as computer science, computer languages, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and progressive, related experience supplemented with courses and seminars in relevant subject matters.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 suite and its products
• 5+ years of experience with Windows Operating Systems and Directory Services
• 5+ years of experience with scripting (e.g. PowerShell, GraphAPI)
• Experience working with information security issues including understanding and dealing with vulnerabilities and knowledge of security utilities
• Microsoft Cloud Certifications preferred
• Knowledge of Azure environment a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Ability to perform tasks requiring sustained physical activity, such as sitting, standing, walking, or repetitive hand movements.
• Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other peripherals.
• Ability to lift and carry items within a reasonable weight range, if necessary.
• Regular use of technology and exposure to prolonged periods of screen time.
