Opportunity
Skybound is on the hunt for an organized and experienced Senior Producer to lead production efforts on a thrilling new game franchise. Senior Producers work across multiple sub-teams, translating the game's high-level schedule into intermediate goals. They guide sprint planning, manage and track work efforts, and communicate status. Senior Producers function as the glue on our team, running project rituals that keep the developers nformed, focused, and collaborative.
As Senior Producer, you will organize production efforts for multiple sub-teams. You'll work across teams to break down high level goals into smaller tasks, managed in sprints. You'll communicate constantly, promote and celebrate wins, resolve dependencies and remove blockers. You will create production frameworks and implement tooling to track and reflect progress to stakeholders and back to the team. You will lead process to establish priorities and manage tradeoffs to achieve the highest possible quality, on schedule.
Reports: This position will report to the Executive Producer of Skybound Game Studios
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Organize and manage development efforts on a new video game franchise
Establish and lead production rituals for multiple feature teams or departments
Break down high level goals and feature definitions into actionable tasks
Manage expectations with accurate estimates, visibility and process improvement
Implement assignment and tracking to clarify, focus, and measure progress
Communicate vigorously via meetings, team chat, documentation
Contribute to team culture to maximize individual welfare, morale and productivity
Promote positivity, excellence, creator respect and risk taking in all aspects of work
Requirements:
5+ years in game development, with multiple shipped products
Track record of leadership and exceptional team management
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Proven project management capability, including budget and co-dev teams
Knowledge of game development, including engineering, design, art, and QA
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep storytelling and narrative design experience
Passion for gaming, and a deep understanding of Invincible
Passion for production methodologies, tracking, transparency
Demonstrated delivery of exceptional quality games and singular fan focus
Job Type: Regular, Full-Time
Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc.
The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees
