Job Summary:
  • The EBS IS&T team is directly responsible for the technology strategy and delivery of solutions and IT systems used to enable the Apple TV+ team line of business.
  • The Senior Project Manager, Program Planning & Delivery overseas and manages the planning and delivery of multiple initiatives within a program.
  • This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate with exceptional skills in coordination, communication, and strategic thinking to ensure that all initiatives are aligned with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • The Senior Project Manager, Program Planning & Delivery has a deep curiosity and the ability to understand the business requirements and technical processes in order to ask knowledgeable questions and translate/communicate concepts.
  • A blend of studio/entertainment business and technical acumen coupled with scrum master/project management discipline is also critical to success in this role.

Key qualifications:
  • Significant experience building, maintaining, and adjusting a complex project plan and interdependent roadmaps for multiple initiatives.
  • Experience with project scenario planning, proposing various implementation approaches based on multiple dependencies.
  • Experience in creating quarterly planning presentations for business stakeholders
  • Ability to understand complex processes and distill it down into digestible formats such as diagrams tables, keynote presentations.
  • Effectively coordinates work and communication across disparate groups of individuals specifically development, design and product.
  • Agile, Jira Experience and Scrum Lead / Master Experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the Product Manager and delivery teams to understand overall roadmap priorities and ensure detailed execution plans align with these priorities; highlight conflicts or gaps to enable resolution.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Design and Development Teams, and other stakeholders to define and continuously maintain a detailed project plan and roadmap.
  • Deep understanding of development enhancements and the value they bring to the business stakeholders and how it aligns with the program strategy.
  • Identify, document and manage project plan related issues and risks, including facilitating mitigation discussions and/or creating documentation for escalation purposes as necessary.
  • Document DRI roles and responsibilities for all project initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and architects to ensure alignment with technical strategies and standards.
  • Ensure the organization of all program documentation including presentations, roadmaps, processes and roles and responsibilities

Education/Experience:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
  • Entertainment workflow familiarity preferred
  • 10+ years related experience
  • PMP or other Project Management or Scrum Lead Certification a plus

Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
