World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) has an opportunity available for a Sr. Network Engineer to support our client located at Plano, TX/Jersey City, NJ/Columbus, OH - Hybrid.
Title: Sr. Network Engineer

Duration/Type of Job: 6+ Months
Qualifications:
Formal training or certification or work experience(s) on network infrastructure and IT systems
Experience in Cisco technologies in performing configuration of protocols - IE: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, GRE tunnels, IPSec, SSL, VPN, PBR, HSRP, DHCP, QoS, Spanning-tree, Vlan, STP, Trunking, MPLS, etc.
Proficiency in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting the above network infrastructures
Strong understanding of network technologies, protocols, and standards
Knowledge of network technologies such as firewall, proxy, and load balancer
Knowledge of network services and tools such as Radius, DNS, NTP, SYSLOG, SSH, etc.
TCP/IP subnetting
Microsoft Visio to update network topology diagram(s)
Experience coordinating telco/carrier technologies (circuits, carrier POP, building entry, working with carrier vendors)
Familiarity of cloud and cloud technologies
Effective communication and collaboration skills
CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert)
Bachelor's Degree
Automation and programming languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
