Position Summary
Our client, who is in the educational space, is looking for a Sr. Change Manager to support their cybersecurity alignment initiatives. In this role, you will ensure project success by driving employee adoption of new policies and processes through strategic change management. This role focuses on managing changes in business processes, technology, job roles, and organizational structures. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing change management plans, coaching leaders and teams, and integrating change initiatives into project plans. The Analyst will have decision-making authority over change management activities, including project expenses related to Prosci training, and will act on behalf of senior leaders when needed. The goal is to increase adoption, maximize ROI, and achieve project outcomes efficiently. This role is a year long full time position with benefits and is hybrid with 2-3 days/week in office.
Responsibilities
Developing Change Management Plans for the Cybersecurity Alignment initiative working with senior leaders, project team members, and campus partners.
Coordinates with team members including business analyst, project manager, and project trainer to ensure understanding of the current process, project timelines, and ensure that change management plans are integrated across all disciplines.
Work with leaders, managers, and teams to ensure they are trained on their roles in leading change for the alignment project.
Routinely communicate with key stakeholders to assess needs, determine status, and adapt coaching and communications plans.
Survey and monitor to collect data, perform analysis, and measure the results of change management activities to prepare plans for improvements.
Develop relationships with stakeholders and human resource professionals to gain a working knowledge of existing business processes to assess the impact of the changes toward industry best practices.
Lead small teams representing larger organizational environments to receive feedback and adjust change management plans accordingly.
Identify and prepare the stakeholders for upcoming changes and determine how they will be affected.
Develop a change management strategy and apply change management techniques, processes, and tools to projects.
Use project management methods to keep change initiatives on track and stakeholders informed.
Minimum Experience
Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma (or GED) and equivalent related professional experience (4+ years).
Experience facilitating recurring meetings that include a variety of stakeholders from multiple units/departments/organizations.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives with varied complexity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience designing and leading strategies for large change management initiatives.
Experience developing change management plans and related project documentation.
Ability to understand technology topics and issues and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Additional Plus: • Change management certification such as CCMP or Prosci. • Experience in higher education. • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
Salary / Wage Range
$90,000-$100,000/Year
