Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Senior C# Developer to focus on the backend and UI of our Fixed Income systems. An ideal candidate will use accumulated experience and knowledge of fixed income markets and products to translate user requirements into comprehensive solutions to complex Fixed Income problems. Additional responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, maintaining, and supporting software to provide quality technical solutions to the Fixed Income business while participating in or leading multiple large projects with significant scope and impact. Our Developers work as a collaborative team on complex assignments that are sometimes broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions by influencing strategic direction and tactical plans for the department.

The perfect candidate is goal and detail oriented and is a passionate developer who is eager to grow and learn. This candidate also exhibits excellent written and oral communication skills allowing them to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Angular is good to have)
• Write clean and maintainable .Net and Angular code.
• Debug, improve, and maintain existing code.
• Participate in the Agile development lifecycle, including daily stand-ups and biweekly sprint planning.
• Communicate across departments within the company and with business users to solve problems.
• Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
• Occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.
• Participates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

Skills, and Abilities:

Required:
• C# .NET experience
• Strong reactive programming skills and experience with RxJs/Streams
• Experience with the Flux/Redux architectural pattern
• Experience building and consuming JSON-based RESTful APIs
• Strong debugging skills using Chrome Dev Tools
• Experience working with TFS or JIRA
• Experience working with Git
• Experience working in an Agile team environment.

Preferred:
• Experience working with Oracle/MSSQL databases
• Understanding of Domain Driven Design/Repository Pattern
• Knowledge or experience of financial services
• Angular UI Experience
• HTML, CSS and Typescript hands-on experience to build UI for web applications
• Experience developing web applications using AngularJS and Angular 2/4
• Writing clean, modular, debuggable, Typescript code using external libraries or custom code
• Providing recommendations on using external libraries, as needed
• Webpack experience a plus

Education/Previous Experience:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related degree and three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training and experience approved by HR.
